I was watching Predator on AMC for what seems like the hundredth time. It's one of those movies I never get sick off. What are some of your favorite movies that you can watch over and over?

I was thinking of making a list actually, then when I'm feeling down I can just chose something from the list to put on and theoretically it should cheer me up.

Off the top of my head:

Starship Troopers
Bad Taste
Monty Python & The Holy Grail
From Dusk to Dawn
2010
Excalibur
Conan the barbarian

I'm a big movie fan in general. And it's true: The movies that you truly love you can watch them over and over again. Maybe not every day, but once in a while. You might have experienvced this too: you own your favorite films on DVD or BluRay or got an old VHS tape in your collection, but when they are shown on TV you just get hooked again and cannot stop watching them till the end. And everybody loves Predator.

Here are some of my all-time favorites:

- 2001: A Space Odyssey
- The Empire strikes back
- Alien
- Cloverfield
- Evil Dead I & II
- The Blair Witch Project
- Dark Star
- Heavy Metal
- the first X-Men movie
- The Experiment (the German original)
- the whole Friday the 13th franchise
- the Saw franchise
- the Chucky movies (except the last one)
- Godzilla flicks

Oh, I need to add a Chucky thread to the male redhead section, because that killer doll is so freaking awesome! http://redheads.b1.jcink.com/uploads/redheads//post-22-1274316769.gif

Yes, yes, and yes.

Most Disney-Pixar movies can be watched over and over...

Now since Galaxy Quest was mentioned, how about Space Balls?

I play Magic: the Gathering. I also have a website about it.

I didn't include any foreign language movies, not because I don't like them, more because I can't watch subtitles for more than an hour or so without getting eye ache.

If it weren't for the sore eyes thing I'd also include

Battle Royale
Azumi
Arahan

and a bunch more

Nice. Two of my Japanese favorites, too.

Good point, same here
So in that vein I'll add:

Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001)

I saw the original in subtitle form in the theater and lost a good bit of the content because it was rather quick and hard to read.
The dubbed version is not done very well (I t came across rather corny and poorly voice acted), but it helped me pickup a lot that I missed.

I absolutely love that movie! Come to Texas, King! Everything is bigger in Texas, even our subtitles, lol

Even though Fight Club is a little bit violent and boyish. I still like it. I like Marla. I like the two boys in it. I did not really get what was happening in the end. Does anyone else who watched that think it was rushed through and not explained very well? I got it out from the video store and watched it a couple of times in slow motion with subtitles. It made no more sense.
