What was the last movie you have watched recently? anything good? Discuss your thoughts and recommendations here. Doesn't have to be a new movie anything will do.
I watched the blu-ray version of The fifth element last night one of my favorite films still visually stunning after almost 15 years. |

I can't believe there's no replies in this thread. Last movie I saw was Goon starring Seann William Scott.
For those used to seeing Seann William Scott in roles where he's playing a variation of his Stifler character from the American Pie movies, this is a nice change. He plays a bouncer who becomes a semi pro hockey "goon" after he attends a hockey game with his friend and ends up beating up one of the hockey players who goes after his friend in the stands. I don't want to spoil the movie so I won't go into the details. There is a lot of graphic violence in the movie but it's got a good storyline and Alison Pill is sickingly adorable as Eva. |

I somehow missed this thread I guess.
The last one I saw was "Altered States" My girlfriend had never seen it so I had to get it via Netflix right away. It was even more trippy that I remembered. |

![]() Last movie... Another Earth. It wasn't really what I've expected from it after reading the plot line on IMDB. Still not very bad, I've seen worse lately (Darkest Hour). |

Last movie I saw was a documentary called "The Bridge" about how San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge was a hot spot for suicides. I was curious after someone posted this clip on another forum so I downloaded the whole movie off a torrent site:
Some guy spent all of 2004 filming people jumping. Apparently all there is only a 4 foot fence and a small ledge. Two of my biggerst fears, heights and large open water. ![]() |

Just watched "World War Z". I know the reviews weren't that great when it came out but I thought it was pretty good. It had a lot of action and moved at a good pace for a 2 hour movie.

I made a presentation about Golden Gate Bridge in listening and speaking class 6 years ago. I mentioned about the suicides at the bridge. I did not feel this much until watching this clip with music inside. It was so tragic. By the way, my lastest movie: Bui Doi Cho Lon (Vietnamese action film) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x32mfe3_b...gsub_shortfilms http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x32mijb_b...gsub_shortfilms ![]() Open the door to see the world
