I know we have a Deborah Ann Woll thread but I was wondering if there are any fans of the show here? I mean not just those watching for Vampire Jessica. laugh.gif I just caught up on all 4 seasons of the show.

If you remember on the old forum I talked about the show (in the Lauren Ambrose thread) even before it was on HBO. I was aware that Alan Ball ("Six Feet Under", "Cybill") was making a vampire show, so I wanted to check it out.

Also on the old forum, I'm the one who first posted about Deborah Ann Woll when her character first showed up in episode 10 of Season 1.

I think I've seen every episode of "True Blood" at least twice.

The missus has read some of the book and we've both watched the first three seasons.

Seems that vampires really do have trouble crossing water though as it's taking ages for season 4 to show up here.

Apparently some things are changed from the books which I haven't read. It sucks having to wait so long for the next season. I hope we get to see more of Vampire Pam in season 5. It would be great if they expanded on her character. I'll be sure not to post any spoilers on season 4 Shimmer.

I've been watching season 5. I hope they don't kill off Molly who's played by Tina Majorino. She doesn't have a huge role but I really like the techie vampire character she's playing.

Sadly, they did kill off Molly. She was fab. I loved the Pam and Tara partnership. It's made Tara a brilliant character. She's so much hotter as a Vampire.

Still hoping for some proper Jessica nudity......

I was bummed they killed off Molly. sad.gif Making Tara a vampire was a great move. I'm not sure how I feel about them having Pam and Tara become romantically involved. I kinda hoped they would have went with the mother/daughter relationship with them.

I loved the pacing of this season. The episodes seemed to be more action packed as well. The finale was pretty awesome. I've enjoyed this season a lot. Alan Ball is out next season so it will be interesting to see where they go with the story lines.

Looks like there will be a war between humans and vampires so that should make for some good action scenes. I hope we don't get many filler episodes where not much happens.

Sooooo what did everyone think about season 6 and/or the finale? I'm seeing a lot of negative comments on season 6.

Poor. Half of the season was wasted on the fricking Werewolfs, the other half stuck in 'The Farm' with cock all happening.

The Pam & Tara relationship was completely wasted, after being given such a good build up last year.

'Wallo' was possibly the biggest damp squib ever, and was killed using some dreadful Deus Ex Machina nonsense.

Giving virtually an entire episode over to Terry's funeral was ridiculous. I liked the character, but he didn't warrant that kind of time.

And Jessica still didn't get naked!!

That pretty much sums it up perfectly. I see this series going one more season.

They pretty much admitted that they screwed up this season.

Next season is confirmed as being the last. She's got one last chance to make a sad man happy.
